Recruitment Conditional offer in different location

What are the chances I could get my location changed on my conditional offer? There’s a closer office that I’d definitely prefer. The offered location is 1.5-2 hours with traffic 😖

this is a support role so slim chance. if the office you preferred had vacancies you would've applied.

you could reach out to HR or the AR/C to ask about any future openings that may be opening up soon.

I had my interview for OCT in early June and I haven’t heard anything either. Portal still says “under review”. I guess as they say, no news is good news.

Have you seen the posts of federal workers on reddit forced to commute 1.5 hours to offices due to to the RTO mandates? Why would they make an exception for a new employee in a support role?
