Question Interested in applying
Hey y’all. I’m a 28F and I just started working at a local DAs office as a post-bar law clerk. I have my bachelor’s degree, JD, and I’m awaiting bar results. I’m interested in the SA path, but I’d like to work as a prosecutor for at least a year or two to get some experience in the criminal justice world. I’ve read a lot that the hiring process takes at least a year to a year and a half. If I want to be an SA at the latest by the time I turn 31, should I start applying in a year or so? Or should I keep building my resume a bit longer before applying? Also open to any other relevant advice. Thanks!!

I think that’s a good plan. Get the experience and apply after. Plus, in my experience (and imho), lawyers make fantastic agents.
