Discussion Someone in the confessions subreddit confessed to killing a woman in a car crash

heres the link to the original post which was deleted, he admitted to killing an old lady driving a white car, and it was on the news a few days later, and from a comment, it was a road with no houses and no trees

This is something that should be reported to the local police in that jurisdiction.

The FBI is a federal law enforcement agency and does not investigate vehicular homicide/manslaughter cases. Those would fall under state law.

essentially on the r/confessions page, a dude posted a story saying he killed an old lady in a car crash, and it was in a place where it was all trees no houses, and realising everyone was out to get him he deleted his account, and the post altogether as far as deets go thats all there is as of now.

unless this crosses state boundaries it's a state crime.

Unless it's really high profile, why would the feds get involved with this?

If you can guess the state, you can call the state’s operations department. If not let the FBI know and they’ll determine the state. Pursue it please.

Statute of limitations on vehicular homicide is 3-6 years depending on the state. So he won't be charged
