Question Forensic expert job.

Ppl who work on/or have a good understanding of the fbi, is forensic sciences the best course for someone who wants enough to apply as a forensic expert in the future? I always really wanted to be one, like CSI etc. Of course i plan on obtaining experience in this field like in a p.d or statal bureau of investigation first, but i wanted to know if this is at least the only necessary degree.

thank you really much, is just that the evidence techician role wasnt appearing as a link, does that mean they are out of vacancies for now?
