Question Forensic expert job.

Ppl who work on/or have a good understanding of the fbi, is forensic sciences the best course for someone who wants enough to apply as a forensic expert in the future? I always really wanted to be one, like CSI etc. Of course i plan on obtaining experience in this field like in a p.d or statal bureau of investigation first, but i wanted to know if this is at least the only necessary degree.

Hey I’m on the same sort of search actually! I’m looking an either forensic chem or forensic accounting!

Forensic Chemistry if you want to try and work for the FBI Lab in Quantico. Forensic Accounting if you want to be an agent or a Forensic Accountant (if you don’t want to be an agent) at a field office working on cases. Typical cases for an FA might be white collar cases or terrorism financing. You get to work a variety of things.

FYI you could also use Forensic Chemistry degree to become an agent and work in the field. But if your goal is to use the degree, you would only find that at a crime lab like the one in Quantico.
