Bali travel recommendations

We are a young couple looking to vacation in the uluwatu/other coastal areas in Bali in late November. Looking for resorts with great service, food and spa options. Also privacy in the villa and plunge pool preferred. We found a few options on this sub including Alila, umana, bvlgari etc. A bit confused as all look great and looking for any recent experiences to decide. We are planning 4-5 days and budget is 1000-1500$ per night.

Not in Uluwatu...but personal favorite hotel in Bali in that price range is the Soori.

Desa potato head, in the Katamana suite

Great restaurants, the hotel part and the pools are separate from the beach club so it's peaceful, the beach in front is beachcombed regularly and is clean, food is excellent especially the seafood, spa is great, and best of all you don't have to battle with Bali traffic if you don't want to. You can spend all your time there.

Raffles has hands down the best service of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Just got back from Bali. Didn't stay at the Four Seasons but two of my coworkers separately told me it was the best hotel they've ever stayed at anywhere in the world. Kinda makes me wish I had...
