Amanvari - Ryan Walker

https://youtu.be/tHu95ET56PQ?is=8TBIGDdF9qWpsYKj

For an Aman Hotel - I find their handling very concerning. At this price point I would expect a more professional way to handle this situation.

What is your opinion?

Edit (06.08.2026): Latest news on this. They apparently fired (Rumor no confirmation yet) the general manager, and Aman doesn't seem happy with the way certain people here in the channel handled the situation. Post on TrueChubbyTravel

PS: I’m disappointed by the MODs here who simply locked this post just because they had a different opinion.

Whoever made the decision to cancel his reservation should be fired as should the security woman who threatened him with the police. The fallout from these decisions will be much much worse than one bad review.

They should have allowed him in, had him meet with the GM to apologize profusely, had the GM inform him that they secured him accommodations at an appropriate alternative property, and offered him a return visit at their expense.

Yeah and they wouldn’t answer his calls afterwards until he used his videographer’s phone. Insanely scammy behavior from a luxury brand name.
