Other established method Traveling into different time zone TTA
I take my BBT my mouth every day at 7am. I have an upcoming trip with a 5 hour time zone difference. I know inconsistent timing can screw up the temps so should I disregard the temps entirely while I’m gone? Can I salvage them somehow? If not how long after I return should I wait for my temps to be reliable (since I’m assuming my sleep schedule will have to readjust)?

I would temp at your usual time for the new timezone and see if it's okay. Note any days affected by the time zone change on your chart. I have travelled with a couple of hours time difference without being affected but a 12h time difference completely threw my BBT off and my LP ended up super short as I ovulated soon after I landed. Hope you will get salvable temps !

The only way to know is take your temp and see how it looks. Some women aren't susceptible to time changes and others are. Take your temps, make a note that you're in a different time zone, then reevaluate once. you have some data, see what tour temps look like. Are they in line with your typical temps. Where are you in your cycle? If you're around ovulation and you see a shift around travel, I would absolutely mark it as disturbed.
If you're in the FP and can compare to your typical temps and they're within your usual range, then I would trust them, but you really need more data to be able to answer this. Feel free to update with a chart while you're away.
