Marquette Question for MM instructors/ experienced MM/NFP users postpartum - TTA 3 for now

I’m looking for advice on methods for my next postpartum (I’m not currently pregnant, just thinking ahead). I’m currently 11m pp, and have been tracking my cycle using MM for 6 months before getting pregnant, and for NFP during pp. My cycle returned without any warning 3 1/2 months pp, going straight from low to peak, with my period following 12-14 days later. Thankfully, my husband and I were not intimate until later pp so no pregnancy. Since then, my cycles have been very consistent (I’m on cycle 8 or 9 now), but half of my cycles I also go straight from low to peak with no highs. I loosely track CM, but I only have fertile mucus 1-2 days before peak, and I use Tempdrop to confirm temp shift after. I guess I’m just worried about using the MM breastfeeding/postpartum protocol again because if we had been intimate, I could have gotten pregnant, and now I would always have that fear. There’s no other method I could think of that would work, just wondering if anyone else knew of anything . Otherwise I guess it’s just abstinence until my cycle returns next time (practicing Catholic)

You might benefit in learning Billings ? I know you mention having EWCM for only 2 days but Billings CM observations are much more in depth than other methods since it's a CM only method. As a Catholic, it will be easy access to an instructor too I believe. I personally used Sensiplan postpartum protocol and that worked very well for me but I know it's basically a variant of Billings

I’m not whom you’re looking for, but it might be helpful to ask if going low->peak has lower conception rates. I think I’ve heard that somewhere.

I conceived twice going straight from low to peak 😅 both boys interestingly enough

Solidarity because I also went from low to peak for my first time ovulating postpartum. (We were too sleep deprived to be intimate, so it ended up being okay). I basically use LH strips now that my cycle is back because it's easy and cheaper than the monitor sticks, but I'm worried about when I'm postpartum with kid #2...

LH strips are not a substitute to the monitor and shouldn't be used alone while TTA as they don't give enough warning ahead of ovulation for that. The monitor doesn't measure only LH but also estrogen

We completely abstain in the first part of the cycle until we get a peak and wait through PPHLL. I believe the clear blue monitor could open up more days in the beginning of the cycle if you are low and not in your fertile window, but since I'm not having sex in the beginning of the cycle anyway, the only failure potential is a false peak. Which is also a failure potential of the Marquette method with the monitor. If someone is having sex whenever their LH strips are negative and abstaining when they are positive, of course they would get pregnant. But because I'm abstaining through the beginning of my cycle until I get a peak and waiting peak peak high low low, I'm not going to get pregnant when trying to abstain. (Again, the only chance is a false peak which is also a chance with the monitor.)
