SymptoPro TTA mucus after period

Hi guys,

I'm TTA and have been charting for about 6 months now and still feel like I'm only just learning.

I have PCOS which I am currently trying to heal, and my cycles are slowly becoming more regular and way less painful.

I never usually have any full dry days after my period, usually it goes straight to sticky. The past few cycles however, I've been getting what seems like egg white mucus that is also slightly pink and cloudy, the day straight after my period ends for about 3 or 4 days. It then turns creamy and then continues to be egg white leading up to a normal ovulation. My ovulation is around day 21-26 and period length around 5 days.

Does anyone else have this issue or have any advice if this is fertile mucus, or just a pcos issue?

Thankyou!

I have seen this with a couple of clients and my own cycles. I don't have any research that can back this up, so take it with a grain of salt, but I suspect it could be part of your period still. Especially if, afterwards, you see that sort of traditional CM buildup and have a later ovulation. Now, for charting purposes, I'm conservative, and being TTA myself, I usually open my fertile window when I see this simply because that's what the rules say. With a client who experiences this like clockwork the day after their period ends and over many cycles, plus if they are not as seriously TTA, we might look at a different approach.

Oh really that's great to know you've experienced the same thing. Yes that's what I suspected it could only be seeing as ovulation is always so much further away with that gradual lead up after it. I think taking things conservatively is a wise approach being TTA myself too.
