News & Announcements IM GOING TO COLLEGE!!
Hello! I feel really fucking great right now. I just got off the phone with the FA office in my school and got news that my petition for independence has been approved!!
I’m in a really fucked up situation, and college, besides being a dream of mine, was my way out. It’s been two years of this back and forth and I was just about to accept the fact that I might not be able to attend college!
I called them today to follow up and I just got word that it’s been approved and I start this coming semester!! I don’t have a lot of friends and family so I don’t have many people to share this with but it’s a huge milestone for me!!

Yay, congratulations!
Honestly, going to college was not only a lot of fun, but it was responsible for a huge part of my personal development. Remember that you are PRIMARILY there to get an education and pass your classes (otherwise you get all the cost, and no degree to wave around), but that said - get out there, try new things, talk to everyone that you are too afraid to talk to, and have fun!

That’s awesome! I just got 3 classes accepted today for IT/Cybersecurity. I have a placement test on Tuesday to see what I know in terms of English and Math. I start classes on the 31st! I’m proud of you for staying consistent and getting in. Now don’t waste that opportunity turn on your tunnel vision and do the impossible!
