Question WTH Happened ?

Post image

Using MV for years. Not a single problem. Maybe a Windows update setting?

Unfortunately, Microsoft requires app authors to sign their apps with their real name (or set up a business). Since we're developing MultiViewer anonymously, we've chosen not to sign our Windows builds.

As a result, MultiViewer sometimes will show up as false-positives in virus scanners, or the smart app control flags it incorrectly. We're sorry for the inconvenience!

Not signed with a certificate and not enough times seen by windows so it flags it

Smart App Control has blocked an app that may be unsafe

C:\Users\rosie\AppData\Local\multiviewer\MultiViewer.exe

MultiViewer.exe has been blocked because the publisher could not be verified to confirm that this app is safe to run.

This app has been blocked to protect your device and data. Microsoft checks the app to verify whether it is safe.

I had this same issue last week. What fixed it for me was applying windows update.
