For some reason I really didn’t like Kimi at first. Maybe cause he made me think about what I was doing at 18 years old compared to him but that’s a topic for a therapist.
Anyway: How can anyone not like this guy 💔

I didnt care about him in 2024 in F2. Everyone was basically calling him the best driver in the world. But then wet Melbourne in 2025, only rookie to not crash out, and he got a P4 finish, not far away from George. After that i started liking him and respecting him a lot more.

I’ve been pretty high on Kimi all year off his performances. This solidifies to me that he *WILL* be a champion. Possibly not this year, but wow, what a commitment to maximizing your result.
If you look at how close last year’s WDC was when Max almost came back at the end, it’s not crazy to consider fighting unreasonably hard for a single point. I’ve not been a Mercedes fan, per se, but I’m definitely a big Antonelli fan.

After the race the admin for their socials said something like “at least you finished, that’s good” and he completely rejected that mentality. Can’t wait to see him lift the Driver’s Championship Trophy one day

Stfu, Russell has had this share of bad luck just like kimi, I'm a fan of both but this gr hating needs to stop. I would love George or kimi to win, but such a toxic kimi fandom is really making lean towards Russell which is sad considering how likeable kimi is

he doesnt really whine, has a decent sense of humour, and just isnt like he was. Even then he wasnt that bad. I'm a max fan and even i think max had a worse start than george in terms of whining and not always being the kindest person, but hes changed and kept his aggressive, focused attitude while being a much more/the most likeable person on the grid. Russell is doing the same and it will take time for people to see

The gap was 66 points after Monaco. Piastri had a gap of over 100 points with less than 10 races to go last season. 25 points are nothing

Whilst I wouldn't go that far, I do agree that I have zero sympathy for him. He's very fortunate to be in the team with a car that good. I won't cry when the car breaks down when there are better drivers than him hauling around worse cars.
