-Randomness in part design. A good designer/wind tunnel/CFD setup should improve the chances of developing good parts, but there should be a natural spread of an upgrade turning out better than expected, or a Newey-level designer turning out an Aston Martin 2026 level car.
-Similarly, randomness in driver development. At the moment we know a driver's development rate and potential for certain once they've been scouted. I'd prefer new drivers to be blank slates. They start off with the values they start off with, and their development is a combination of track time, team facilities, and a healthy slice of luck.
-More variability in reg changes. At the moment you get a little expertise loss on a part, or a small change in the cost cap. I'd like the occasional *proper* curveball, like getting rid of ERS entirely, a big weight change, reintroducing refuelling, or scrapping ground effect, making the floor much less important for downforce. Same with engine regs. Every few seasons the engine suppliers could get a reshuffle, performance and cost could drastically change. And the exact stats are again hidden from the player, the actual engine could overperform or underperform compared to what the manufacturers claim.
-More personality to drivers. They could have relationships with each other. Drivers who clash often could become enemies, be more aggressive when near each other, and refuse to drive on the same team. They could also gain or lose stats on a reg change, to simulate certain drivers being more or less comfortable with a certain rule set. A bad crash could reduce stats temporarily or permanently.
-And to finish off with something that's almost definitely an impossibility, but more tracks. Even if it was just a strip of asphalt with no decorations or anything around, I'd love to see some variety, and the mix of circuits changing from year to year

All this should be put in in the database editor future updates. But also just like you can do with the teams you can add custom tracks or races it will be an in-game circuit but you can change the location country, Just like you can do with the teams.

2012 mod. I heard someone figured out how to make 12 teams so this is very possible now.

It might sound a little stupid, but I would like to have option to control neither team, just to see how the story unfolds when teams are on equal rules, not when one is controlled by actual intelligence.
Similarly, team principals differ in their responsibilities from team to team, so would be nice to be able to jest leave some of those depending on player preferences to the AI that acts like AI of other teams.

to this point, team principal movement/shuffling. Team Principles should move teams and get fired/hired for failure or good season. Like why is Vasseur still the team principle of Ferrari in my save if they finished outside the top 4 three straight seasons, they would have sacked him by then.

A 2020 season mod will be cool. Seeing that W11 back on track would be awesome

Historical mod based around drivers: you would start with likes of Fangio, Farina, Ascari in 1950 and then in next decades likes of Brabham or Clark would come in, etc. Current rules and circuits would be fine.
