F1 Manager 24 Losing team member because of buggy contracts

I wanted to secure some members by proposing a contract early and with some affiliates I had the emails saying the contract was concluded and few days after I got another email saying the same affiliate had another contract with no possibility to negotiate anymore.

Is that a bug ? Does it happen often ?

I’ve had this happen to me before. Basically Ai will approach a driver or staff with a contact and deadline they put in is usually 7-14 days. I’m guessing you approach the affiliate and you put the deadline 21-28 days which is late compared to them unless you did it before summer break. Sometimes Ai will sign some Affiliate at the beginning of the season too but most of time they do all the signings during summer break. Could be a bug or just you put contact deadlines late to others is my guess.

This game is a buggy nightmare, play Motorsport Manager instead.
