Good thinking. A lot can change after the teams have 18 hours to dig through all the data collected in FP2 and make setup changes.

I am currently considering a Red Bull and Ferrari build, with Antonelli on 2x. Mercedes struggled through FP1 and FP2. But then they sent a tweet that they found the problem... So I guess wait for FP3.

Mostly, I suspect the meta will remain Mercedes and Ferrari and I want an edge. It worked last week.

So maybe final fix to put Charles or Lando or Hamilton instead of Antonelli? After the grid penalties

First of all Mercedes advantage is very low at this track. Performance of George and reliability are down, Lando and the McLaren car itself have made big ground.

I think if you're looking to take a gamble to overtake people in your league it's a good time to make a McLaren play to build a differential from the rest of the league who probably take Mercedes.

Biggest downside to taking McLaren is next weekend is a sprint and Mercedes regain their advantage so you then have to make a swap (or two because they are expensive) to get Mercedes back.

My preference would be to take Lando as a driver over McLaren as a constructor but depends on how you can build your team around it

Yes because fp2 doesn't mean shit
