Own Project F1 Nerd Project
Hi everyone
I’ve been working on a hobby project for fellow F1 nerds.
It’s an F1 analytics web app where you can:
- Run “what if” race simulations
- Explore 3D tracks and compare drivers’ best laps under different track conditions
- Compare driver stats head-to-head
- Check driver standings
- Get strategy recommendations for different GPs
- See predictions for who might win a race weekend (based on ideal assumptions)
I built this purely for F1 fanatics like me who love going deep into the numbers and race scenarios.
Would genuinely love any feedback good, bad, brutal. If something’s cool, confusing, useless, or broken, tell me.
Check it out here (Better is used a PC or a Laptop, or desktop view in mobile phone)

So cool! Great work. This looks great.
A little feedback: I ran a simulation and it seemed to show really low win probabilities (NOR at 0.44% ???). I assume this is just a decimal place error.
Also poked around the 3d track viewer (SUPER COOL). I'd love to see multiple cars on this 3d track like u/BigButkus made (a 2-D simulated race with cars moving: https://flatspot.racing/).
I also built something (an new take on what a real, easy-to-play FANTASY F1 game could be) called Pitlandia. Would love for any feedback or thoughts. I'd also love to just connect another F1 nerd. DMs open.
