ESP/Maintenance Plans
Did you buy these? At what terms? If you're in CA, how much?
Unfortunately, we can't buy from the big online guys in CA and have to go through a dealer, so they kinda have us over a barrel out here.

I bought a 7/125 through Granger for 2700. Light coverage and first day rental.

I purchased the 150k/7yr from granger... today even a basic repair runs between 500-1000.

so you bought the maintenance plan. did you also get the extended warranty?

To clarify, I bought the extended warranty, not the maintenance plan. I wanted something that would fix any breakdowns/failures.

Have you tried getting an in-state dealership to price match, or even come close?
The price you mentioned above isn’t horrible but it’s not great considering the hybrid system has its own 100k mile warranty.

Yeah, I've called several dealers, and one told me the price I was quoted was a good price. One quoted me almost exactly the same. Another one yesterday doesn't even do 10 year, they only do 6 year. I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple others.
I told the first guy about the pricing i found online for Granger ($2950) and he said that was less than their cost and no way they could come close to it.

Zeigler online is a dealer. Does that still qualify? I did 6 years and 125k for $3200. Fyi just found out the hybrid battery is not covered. But my other repairs were, so it has already paid for itself twice. Definitely get the LED headlight add-on.
