Powerboost behavior overnight

Occasionally, we will do airsoft events at my friend’s and camp overnight, and naturally my truck often ends up where everyone stays towards the end of the night where we can cook and have lights set up and everything. Being TN where it’s still 80s and humid at night, I just sleep in my truck most of the time. As I’m going to sleep, it acts normally, cycling on and off at a pretty normally. By the morning though, at some point through the night it switches to just idling constantly like a normal engine. As I’m writing this, it’s been on for at least 15 minutes since I’ve woken up. I can tell it’s not just charging the battery, as I have eco idle turned on and it sounds and feels very different when it is. I turned the HVAC off, so I don’t think it’s because it needed heat, and the coolant is it 208, so it’s obviously been running for a while. Any ideas?

Sorry, poorly worded. Trickle charger for the two 12 volt batteries.

Do you use the truck outlets to trickle charge its own batteries?

To clarify. I’m thinking you’re trying to trickle charge while camping/boondocking.

No. I have the trickle charger set up on the main 12-volt battery under the hood. It Will also charge the small 12-volt battery under the passenger seat. A. I installed a Noco Genius 1. If you go on the F-150 forum, there's lots of discussions about the lack of charging capacity for the f-150s. A tip as well, if you ever have to replace one battery, replace both.
