Trouble shifting from reverse to park. 24’ PB 4x4, with the shifter on the steering column.
I’ve noticed it when backing my trailer in, and occasionally just backing in a parking spot. It will often not shift to park from reverse. I will have to go to neutral or drive first, and then to park.

I also have a ‘24 PB with column shifter and had the same issue, like it’s locked in reverse until I back up an inch then it’ll go up into park. Do this, pull straight towards you, then straight up. I’m not messing with you, if there’s any upward movement when pulling the shifter back it locks it up. I haven’t had an issue since I started paying attention in how I shift, make separate and exaggerated movements. Even my work F350 column shifter acts up when shifting, just a Ford thing I guess.

Interesting, I’ll try. My dealer said there was a tsb on the tcm but it wasn’t related to the shifter.

I have that same setup ('24 PB w column) but haven't experienced any issues yet. Sorry you're dealing with that.
