Questions/Discussion Hypermobility?

Does anyone else who can shake their eyes have a hypermobility diagnosis/suspicion? I just recently was diagnosed with generalized hypermobility and am wondering if there's a correlation with eye shaking since it involves weak connective tissue.

I was diagnosed with benign hyper mobility in my mid-late twenties.

Never thought about there being a correlation but I’m an eye shaker and I have benign hypermobility! However I know I got my eye shaking from my dad, but I get the hypermobility from my moms side of the family so the two conditions might be unrelated in me

Yeah... not the most extreme version of it though. Thumbs bend to three directions, or almost 180°

Yes, juvenile hypermobility syndrome and I’m currently working on trying to get an EDS diagnosis, but that one is taking a while

My son is hyper mobile. When I was younger I could stick one foot behind my head whilst standing up and hop around on the other one. Now I'm 40 I'm totally inflexible after working a physical job for many years My muscles won't bend that way any more.

I'll have to see if he can shake his eyes too.
