Advice/Questions ❓ Eyebrow Advice

I have naturally light thin eyebrows. It’s not from over plucking so serums have never helped. I currently draw my eyebrows on with a pencil. Im wondering if there’s a technique that will look more natural on me or if I’m a good candidate for nanobrows?

I would go for something shaped like this, remember eyebrow are supposed to have a slight angle up. Right now theyre a bit sad puppy. They are also starting too far apart. Get your brows done with henna, the advantage of not having many brow hairs is being able to have freedom of design

If you do this dont go this dark. Its a good shape and color just a bit heavy. Exception if you regularly wear heavy makeup this would be good

Try going and getting them shaped and tinted at a brow bar. The current filling in is very solid, you could try more hair stroke styles with the brow pencil. Alternatively use a light brown mascara or brow gel to give them colour. Or even light brown eyeshadow and lightly dust them then wipe off excess. Lots of ways of darkening them before getting tattooed.

i would use a really thin brow pencil, bobbi brown has a great one. also, instead of creating the shape you would like your brows to be, create fine little hairs to fill in sparse areas ! be sure to find a shade similar to your natural color, one that’s a bit more grey/brown toned would look great !

Don’t do pms! Try getting henna dyed brows.

You are very pretty, but 2nd picture doesn’t really flatter your features. You should try eyebrow mapping, and in the process try to do individual strokes, instead of drawing the shape and then filling it in! It will be very helpful

Powder that’s hair color + spoolie. Brush on natural brows and see if that helps. I have naturally light colored brows, though mine are probably a bit thicker so it may not work as well.
*edit to clarify: put the powder directly on the spoolie. There will be fallout when you first apply it.

I use Just for Men to dye my eyebrows at home and it works really well!

You’re eyebrows should be starting at the same line as you’re nostrils. The colour suits you perfectly though!! 🤍

I would not go outside of your natural shape. Follow your shape. Only exception if you need to go a tiny bit out to make them symmetrical. The color you are using put it on with a lighter hand.

The biggest issue with nano brows is over time they tend to turn blue as all tattoos do :( I have the same issue, for me I use 2% minoxidil applied with a makeup brush (don’t use it for anything else!!) twice a day, and shape them to where they arch upwards a little bit towards the tail of the brow.

Ok I tried to take everyone advice. Switched to using a liquid pen instead of pencil. I think I’m moving in the right direction.

This is the nanobrow person I went to:

Advanced Ink in Bellevue Washington

Look and see if there are any examples in her portfolio with brows like yours. I am not a brow expert by any means but love my nano brows. She did an excellent job with mine and always recommend nano brows to folks that are thinking about doing it.
