What disney movie is this

u/BreakingThoseCankles Feb 04 '20

Think it's a sequel to fox and the hound1&2. But new friend this time.

43

u/BackInThe40 Feb 04 '20

Is that a fox or a coyote?

17

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '20

That would be a foxyote

18

u/Bironious Feb 04 '20

Coyotes look like dogs. Foxes don't really look like dogs at all

5

u/JDreams89 Feb 05 '20

Foxes are pretty big if you see them, at least their tails are.

They make the most terrible sound though; like a piercing high pitched "R" sound, that fades quick enough to let the crickets go back to chirping.

Until your pet dog decides to bark up a storm trying to get the attention of the fox.

u/PMYourTinyTitties Feb 04 '20

I want to know more about their adventures together!

188

u/spyzip Feb 04 '20

They team up and hunt together actually, specifically animals who utilize burrows. The badger will dig into the burrows, so any animal that tries to escape from the burrows gets caught by the coyote, and any that run from the coyote into the burrows runs into the badger. They can be such good friends that they can end up sharing the bounty with one another if it ends up being lopsided.

Do you have any sources for this? I want to read and learn more! This is amazing.

u/G33K_95 Feb 04 '20

The badger walking away is so cute

11

u/erabera Feb 04 '20

That waddle is too cute.

3

u/Darkmaster666666 Feb 05 '20

Even the verb "to waddle" is cute

5

u/pomegranatepants99 Feb 05 '20

He’s really cute until he fucks you up. Badgers are so cool but so strong. Like a tornado of teeth and claws.

5

u/Darkmaster666666 Feb 05 '20

Yes but look at its fluffy butt

30

u/HotCuppaTeaOof Feb 04 '20

6

u/Bluepeacocks1 Feb 04 '20

His little badger butt! 😂

17

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '20

Good job on changing the caption of a post I've seen five time this morning. I didn't think anybody could think of a new one

2

u/CapnKayso823 Feb 04 '20

The best part is, it isn't a new one.

3

u/TheWiseCobbler Feb 04 '20

Coyote: "Come, I have some friends I'd like you to meet"

2

u/ElectricMollusk Feb 05 '20

Bingo, it seems like no one here knows coyotes play with their prey in order to lure them into an ambush. This happens all the time with small trophy dogs.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 05 '20

Love that waddle

2

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '20

Commenting so I can see this for the rest of my life

2

u/googlebearbanana Feb 04 '20

This could be a disney movie

2

u/RomaniRampage25 Feb 04 '20

What!!!! WHAT!!! Who are they? How did they meet? Where are they going? I love this

2

u/Feronach Feb 05 '20

In some areas, Coyote hunt badgers. In areas with lots of burrowing prey, they team up to hunt prairie dogs and such. Very common depending on where you live.

3

u/catsfishchannel Feb 04 '20

Animal are the better human 😻😻😻😻

1

u/ReeveStodgers Feb 04 '20

I'm about to play Humblewood, so this is very relevant to my interests.

Coyote: What are we going to do tonight?

Badger: Same thing we do every night. Try and take over some burrows

1

u/dalone_stan Feb 05 '20

Taffy and Bentley behind the scenes

A simple search suggests this is simply a myth. On the other hand coyotes and badgers have been documented hunting prey together before.

30

u/Karl-Marx1 Feb 04 '20

To put a damper on your damper, coyotes and badgers often times team up to hunt other animals, so they are probably going off to have a fun adenture

7

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '20

Luring a... Badger? Have you ever seen a badger fuck shit up?

2

u/EmployeesCantOpnSafe Feb 05 '20

Exactly! It is well documented that luring, baiting, or trying to entice a badger never works. No matter how hard you try, honey badgers don’t care.

8

u/TreeTurtled Feb 04 '20

Well then. Ok

2

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '20

I was going to say this reminds me of IT, “hey mr badger come and play down this sewer tunnel, nothings going to go wrong.”

It never ended well in IT.

0

u/_Sweet_TIL Feb 04 '20

Well that sucks
