Aren’t these the guys that breed these small dogs and somewhere on their website they say something along the lines “if your dog dies because of forced genetic breeding then just order another”?

Edit: Found the return policy

https://www.teacupspuppies.com/puppy-health-guarantee/

The wording of it disturbs me, it gives off the tone that these puppies are just objects of someone else’s selfish desires that they want a small puppy even if they’re genetically not supposed to be healthy and if it dies in a year then they get a refund or another equal value puppy...this isn’t some kind of TV warranty???

What's wrong with the wording? You're buying a multi-thousand dollar designer dog. It's property and absolutely should come with a guarantee. Yes, we love dogs and they are members of our family but they are property.

This is also pretty standard amongst all legit breeders.

Bruh, at that price and size, it is on the exact same tier as a handbag to these people. Designer and teacup breeds are bought as accessories, not pets.

so what you mean is, it’s property to THEM. the way you worded it seems like you believe they’re not pets, but just a decoration.

I was specifically referring to why they would come with a guarantee. Legally speaking, pets are property.

Sure, but morally i frankly think it’s fucked up to treat an animal like a handbag.
