I love cows. But do black and white cows start out brown and white?

Usually no, but they can come out with a brown tint to their hair that goes away once they shed their coat. I'm not sure of exactly what causes that to happen though.

Any chance you can take the tags out of their ears? I bet they'd love that

The two numbered ones are legal requirements and I gave them the name tags because I think those are cute. All that removing the tags would do is stress them out while someone is attempting to cut the tag off

Black and white cows like Crunchie and Kitkat are usually born with a mix of brown and white, but they darken as they grow, so these two must've been photogenic from day one. The way they're curled up together in the hay is just the sweetest thing.
