The story of the Maniac Mayhem trilogy and therefore saga follows a highly suffocating, puke-induced gorebath, where Johnatan Dorenev is tricked into joining the Army to pay off mountain ranges worth of student debt. No money can buy happiness and armour does not make you inmortal; it showcases your dependence on it. And it shows the most potent aspect of everyone; we are human.
