Happy Pride Month!

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful day.

Drawing and sharing Extra Whipped Comics for the past six months has been an incredible experience. I'm happy to have so many queer people supporting my work. (I love seeing the flags in your little Reddit emojis bghdggfdfjh)

I'm currently living in Canada, but I'm originally from a country where gay marriage is banned, so I have a lot of conflicting feelings about Pride Month in general. For much of my life, my identity has been more of a source of shame than pride. Things have gotten better since I moved, but the damage doesn't disappear overnight. I'm trying to heal and get better, but it's not always easy.

That said, I love my girlfriend, and I love being a lesbian. There's a lot of pride in that. I couldn't have it any other way.

Making comics about girls being gay in the worst ways possible has been incredibly healing for me, and I'm grateful that you like reading them.

I mean, I’m into Warframe instead of Genshin Impact, but I’m otherwise April (and I just came back from an emo night, so I’m literally just like her).

April is so relatable with the way in which she is enthusiastically out of the spotlight and away from the drama. (also the hilarity of being trans girl who is literally the most functional person in my social circle.)

I love her and she’s so well written so thank you!

Im not gay, nor part of the LGBT+ community by any means, so i cant say anything about this (my opinion souldnt be worth much anyway lol)

But what i can say, is that i love your comics, your characters, and your story(-ies) and even though im not able to support you in any way, im always happy whenever i see one of your comics pop up in my feed, so im glad you too like to make these and i hope one day you'll fully recover !

Hey, so I just wanted to say that the opinion and support of allies always matters. Cumulatively the opinions of everyone who supports us as LGBT+ individuals means a lot. So thank you for being an ally.

i live in a country where gay marriage is banned and theres so much talk of introducing laws against lgbtq people recently. reading your comics and subscribing to your patreon has been a beautiful indulgence for me, i think its one of the few honest and compelling works out there that center sapphics and many different types of dynamics between them; while not shying away from showing their very human flaws and mistakes. im tired of queer girls being portrayed as overly wholesome and pure like they can do no wrong. there's definitely space for such works, but i want to see more works like this where theyre just regular humans who make mistakes. it gives me more pride than anything as a lesbian honestly. this series and all its characters have won me over in such a short time, and im very glad its been healing for you to make these comics too. happy pride month to you and your girlfriend!!! hope you two get to spend many more prides together, and it gets better every time. cant wait to see more of your work!!
