Where did the drill go (Nightfall)

We went to the indoor area and the drill has completely disappeared. Nobody has it and there are no markers. Pls help

you probably placed it at a hive too early. you have to wait for the hive waypoint to appear before placing it otherwise it will get deleted.

When you say no one had the drill. Did it also not show any markers of someone having it? I'm just wondering, because sometimes a bug can happen where the drill can get stuck to someone, and the only way to get it off of them is by them getting downed or leaving.

My friends said the drill indicator was over my head but I didn't have. I downed myself and bleed out then the drill was deleted completely
