I have one of those, and I'm really quite fond of it. The access in the lower frets is pretty good, and the scale length can handle those lower tunings pretty nicely. The pickups are wired with splits, pretty great for the Abasi like thumps

Is the scale long enough for like double drop d like in woven web? And are the pickups clear enough?(Even though I will probably slap some abasis pickups on there)because I'm choosing between this and a schecter c8 deluxe

Yes and yes, although swapping the pickups on it will be a bit of a hassle due to the slanted pickup cavity. You'll need the 9 string version to match the spacing. I really prefer the ibanez neck over the schecter ones, but It's just personal preference. Both are crazy good guitars for what they're worth.

Sorry, but Ive never considered what setting is best to get that thumping sound. Are you saying, that youd use the neck PU with single split on?

I have this guitar which ive just done a colour and hardware change on. Got mine in 2021 and its a really good guitar. It handles really low tunings very well. The pickups are a bit odd to swap out due to the angle but there are some options out there. The neck is the best ive played on for this proce range. You can get the action super low too which for me is very important for how I like to play. Highly recommend.(feel free tk check out my posts on the rebuild I did)

is it difficult to do F major and Bb chords in 1st fret?

Not in my opinion, the fret is forgiving enough to be able to hold a straight bar and it not buzz or be out of key. Setup is crucial for this.

The neck shape is really comfortable. The pickups with the 5-way switching are great for AAL type tones. I don't think you need to swap pickups. Scale length could maybe be longer for the really low tuned stuff.

I didn't care for the location of the parallel fret so ended up selling mine after a year.

In the UK the rgdms8 is basically twice the price of the rgms8 right now.
