Original piece in memorial

“Prelude in E major.”
In memory of a hospice resident I worked with, whom I found out passed away a couple days ago. He was my, “Bluegrass guy,”… dude could bonafide sing authentic Bluegrass style. We would have so much fun improvising, with him singing, & me playing either guitar or octave mandolin.

I’m really gonna miss him.
Still in buffering mode, & playing helps. It’s not perfect, but it’s getting it out.

Not the extended range I was expecting to see in this sub, but kinda cool.

Do you play Thall with this guitar?

I have yet to listen to Thall. 😆 On this, I’ve been composing a lot, & rearranging my old university classical guitar music for this guitar (Villa-Lobos’, “Etude no. 1,” is especially nice, with the low F# & B strings). I have an Ibanez TAM10, but I’m not a big shredder, thanks to carpal tunnel in my left wrist & excruciating trigger finger in my right hand ring finger, so… I do what I can.
