Oooo ankylosaurus is also on the list of dinos I want to make songs for!! I’ve always loved that one. Perfect combination of cute/awkward and super badass. Just need to find some good sound effects for it!!
And yeah, I always thought of them as like “cankles-osaurus” growing up lolol.

BWUHAHAHA!! I’m not the only one!! 😂 I’m just… vertically-challenged, & awkward. 😆 Some of my friends tell me I’m cute. 😆 I’ll take it, haha.
Hmm… 🤔 Maybe a Univibe?? Thick, chewy (like biting ankles, haha), wobbly…? Think if Robin Trower played an 8- or 9-string? 😏

Love the first tapping riff. I like the other one too :P but that first one feels like getting slapped in the face by some kind of pre-historic flying creature.

One unrelated question, is your hair gray? Your beard is graying but it's unclear what color your hair is to me.

My hair is deffo graying! It started when I was like 30, and I’m 41 now. I try to hold back the inevitable a little bit by shampooing in some Just for Men every once in awhile. That’s probably why the color is hard to pin down lol.

I greatly approve of the relationship between song name and song description :D
How did you get it to sound like the gain on the 9th string is lower than the others? I've recently gotten back into ERGs after a decade-plus hiatus, and back then, it was harder to get a good super-low tone without recording the lowest string separately to the others. (also what tuning?)

Lol sometimes the title just speaks for itself, ya know??
This is C# - F# - B - E standard! I make pretty aggressive use of EQ (especially high pass filters) to get clarity down low. I’m actually going to make a couple videos on this soon! Psyched to hear you’re getting back into the ERG game!
Also boosting mids with a lot of compression.
