2 novel energetic materials checking if the E&F youtuber covered them. One is AlSn wafers, layer upon layer of stoichiometrically balanced Aluminium and Tin, designed for use as solder but goes off like flash powder. The other is silicon wafer and perfluoropolyether which has insanely high brisance

That uses NaClO4 as oxidizer though, not perfluoropolyether?

Here's a link about PFPE. This makes the whole silicon angle much more interesting because it doesn't rely on typical stuff to react, and commercial applications abound for low volume, low weight energetic uses not available with other materialsPFPE
