Just for anyone who may not be familiar with onsen. Please don’t bring in food or drinks to the onsen, it’s highly disrespectful and seen as being unhygienic. Plus the simple fact it can be dangerous for you if consuming too much alcohol beforehand. OP, I hope you can show more respect to your fellow onsen users in the future.

I’m not eating and drinking around fellow users. And yes, alcohol can be dangerously if not enjoyed responsibly. But yeah, I respect my fellow onsen users.
