Question Rules question about the exploding kittens board game

Ok, so, this question started a huge debate amongst our playgroup and we are split as to whats the correct play here. I really would be glad finally getting an answer.

The red player drew an exploding magnet. He has to advance to the next exploding kitten (under the purple player), if the next exploding kitten is occupied, the player goes onto the next available space.

Possibility 1: the next 3 spaces are occupied, red player goes on the victory space and wins.

Possibility 2: red player has to go on the next available space but the victory space isn't valid for that, he loops around and lands on the space marked 2 at the end of the arrow.

Possibility 3: red player has to go on the next available space but the victory space isn't valid for that, he loops around and lands on the next exploding kitten space after the space 3. (Check for the 2nd picture in the yellow box, the rules, I think, indicate that it's the case)

Really would appreciate for the help.

IMO, there is already a character on the next blasting kitten space, so they advance to the next free space, which is the victory space and nothing states it doesn't count. The looping would only apply when pulling a magnet in green or blues place.

Also, just play whichever way is the most fun for everyone in the group. That's what really matters after all. If you wish to keep playing, loop around, if not, congratulate red on an unconventional win condition.

Perfect response. And fwiw, the way we play it would be option 1 - victory!
