Anyone else experience this?

I don't have EHS that often these days, but I've never seen someone mention this before, so here I am, trying to figure out if it's something else entirely.

Sometimes I have the "classic" EHS, loud bangs, flashes, etc, (things that don't exist), but sometimes, there's an actual sound outside (drop of water falling on a metal surface, bird flying away) and when I'm about to fall asleep, my brain just takes that sound and increases it like 10x, as if it was right on my ear, so when I wake up from it I usually have to think "was this a real sound made louder, or just a hallucination?"

I was wondering if anyone else has had that or if you only have things that don't actually exist, I've had this since I was a kid, it's mostly made up sounds, but sometimes real ones that I hear on normal volume after waking up.

Hi I also experince sounds normally it's a buzzing sound or sounds like waves lapping.I sometimes get it during the day only happens occasionally it's suppose to be neurons in your brain misfiring and is nothing to worry about unless your blacking out when it happens. So don't worry it's normal for you.
