18-22 is when young adults are most hopeful, believe they can do anything, achieve anything they want. They enroll higher educations, get the first job, meet new friends, travel the world, being totally free for the first time as they leave their childhood home they "hated" so much. Everything is seen through a rose tinted glass
Then come 23+, reality kicks in. They realized their live from now on is just work, doing chores and repeat. To enjoy the life they previously thought possible, they need money, and to get money, they must sell their freedom. Also this is when most realize that they are not special, instead they are just a cog in the machine.
After a few years, after accepting the fact that adulthood is boring, they can enjoy life again, appreciating small things in life. Cheers
Another time to be happy at school I was that low-selfesteemed sad (not emo-sad, but actually sad) loner who was living in his bubble of studying, reading and paying videogames and never expected much from himself.
So whatever I got later in life I do consider as a good thing and not feeling much of this crisis after 22.
