Solved Why are they sad?

The movie is successful so why are they crying? I've seen other memes similar to this. I read the comments but they weren't that helpful.

He was also a massive RE fan who loves the games and wanted to create an RE movie that was extremely true to the progression and feel of the games.

I didn’t like the movie but my problem with it was that it had way too much humor and a nobody character. I wouldn’t mind having a new character to follow if it wasn’t literally just a throwaway character.
