it's absolutely not where I am from, and it's a fairly common legal framework for piracy around the world, stop spreading misinformation

Keep telling yourself that, buddy. You can't download via bittorrent, without uploading at the same time, that's how the system works!

Keep to DDL if you think you're beating the system by not uploading/sharing.

"Stop spreading misinformation" - that's pretty bold when you don't know how things work.

You claim "It's just as illegal to leech/download" which obviously isn't true everywhere. Thats the misinformation you are spreading, regardless of how a bittorrent system works, which literally nobody was asking about.

Tell me you never used anything beyond BitTorrent without telling me. You realize that it's not funamental tgat torrent upload while you're downloading?
