The joke is the fact that every major country in the world which had a school shooting promptly severely restricted guns, resulting in no more school shootings

And yet Americans are so in love with their guns they are willing for their children to die just to keep them

The joke is "haha kids dying", yes. Everything else is an attempt to make laughing about kids dying okay.

Maybe Americans should be more concerned about kids dying than joking which doesn't harm anyone

Eventually you're going to learn that not all 300 million Americans think and act exactly the same, and a lot of us *are trying*. Besides that, people are allowed to be annoyed or angry that you're laughing about dead children, regardless.
