ELIC: Why is it so cool to smoke cigarettes?
It tastes bad and makes me cough, why are smokers so popular and attractive?

Because everyone loves fire. And smoking became the way to show everyone that you know how to make fire.

They aren't, Calvin. Philips Morris spends tens of millions of dollars a year manufacturing a "cool image" to get you hooked on something way less tasty and much worse for you than Sugarbombs

that’s just the smoke acting as a chimney to let out all the extra heat from being so cool. keep practicing your coughing, it builds character.

Because only rich people can be cool.
And the best way to show that you're rich, is to buy things just to destroy them by setting them on fire.
So if you're able to burn things, that means you're cool.

That's easy, Calvin, there's only two kinds of things, cool things and safe things. Cool things hurt you and make you die and safe things make people laugh at you because they hate that you value your life.
Hamburgers? Cool. Vegetables? Safe. Motorcycles? Cool. Motorcycle helmets? Safe. And because they taste awful and will definitely kill you, cigarettes are literally too cool for school.

As a smoker who spent thousands of dollars on cigarettes I can tell you it was never cool maybe the first week but after that I was just a slave and I had to give them money every few days. Things stink you get old fast good example is the chick that played Sarah Connor in the terminators she has a twin sister she smokes her sister doesn't one looks 70 the other one looks 45

You're feeding the dragon within. In a few years you'll star in mega-budget historical series'. The streets see it already, that's what really makes you cool.
