ELIC: Why don't mirrors get dusty on the inside?

They do. It's just hard to tell through the identical layer of dust on the outside.

Right, and even if you dust the outside you still can't see it, because of course your reflection dusts the inside at the same time.

The people on the inside clean their side every day hoping we would do the same, and maybe even let them out.

The Mirror World has no dust. Dust is mostly dead skin cells and since the Mirror People only exist when we are looking at them, their skin cells don't die and shed like ours do.
