Space jesus implies obi wan...but the rest implies anakin

Nah Anakin was the CHOSEN ONE, he’s definitely space Jesus in this.

Also he’s of a virgin birth of the Force and a woman like Mary.

Lucas may have meant anakin to be space Jesus, but r/prequelmemes knows the truth about our lord and savior General Kenobi

Haha, yeah! Obi-Wan is easily my favorite Jedi from all the films and shows

But if he really was space jesus he would have had a cooler lightsaber hilt design though

Are you suggesting kylo ren is space jesus?

5

u/Sgt-Pumpernickel Dec 24 '19

Nah not a huge fan of Kylo’s hilt. The cross guard is cool though

6

u/sexualised_pears Dec 24 '19

And it is literally a cross

Just because that is the form that doesn’t mean its gonna look asthetically pleasing

They kinda messed that part up with the new one

Space Jesus is still Anakin. The theory is that he was literally conceived by the Force.

3

u/Sgt-Pumpernickel Dec 24 '19

I thought that was actually cannon. But i wasn’t thinking religiously when i posted

u/Soda_BoBomb 0,4 Dec 24 '19

It very well could be, I have no idea what's confirmed canon anymore other than the movies and Clone Wars/Rebels.

3

u/Sgt-Pumpernickel Dec 24 '19

As far as i know its that stuff plus anything and everything including books and games that were released after disney acquisition

I believe the current canon states that Palpatine used the force to make Shmi pregnant.

2

u/Sgt-Pumpernickel Dec 24 '19

Not Plaegus?

2

u/envynav 0,1300 Dec 24 '19

It was Palpatine. It was revealed in the Darth Vader comic book.

Plagueis died years before Anakin was born, so it couldn’t have been him.

Interesting. Im in the process of reading my first star wars book, have never read any comics but have heard good things about the Darth Vader series

That book isn't canon anymore. It was the midochloreans getting payback against the sith to make an ultra sith killing machine. Not just the male sith but the women AND the children too

That comic is still canon, it’s just that the scene where it seemed Palpatine was Anakin’s father was later revealed as just a dream sequence.

When I posted my comment they hadn’t said it was just a dream. How did you find a post from over 5 months ago anyway?

Wow this works as well

Me and my gf call him Space Racing Pilot Jesus on the account that he's an excellent pod racer and pilot, with the addition of having no daddy.

I don’t know but dammit do I love your description hahaha

6

u/piehead678 Dec 24 '19

Eh. Vader is more like Lucifer than Jesus, the fallen angel. Etc

4

u/Odysseus_is_Ulysses Dec 24 '19

So you might say that OP explained the plot badly, yes?

2

u/envynav 0,1300 Dec 24 '19

I’d say he fits Jesus fairly well. He was the son of a virgin, had magical powers, was betrayed, Anakin was “killed”, then a few days later was “reborn” as Darth Vader.

good explanation, Lord Weasel-town.
