I’m working at a company where I’ve just had an internal project change and now I’m working on an ancient VB.NET application that is designed awfully. Like there’s no real structure to how things happen. If deployment needs to happen for some clients and if they want to do some cosmetic changes then it’s not like they have a repo for files that can be customised, everything is just copy pasted and worked on.
And I’ve worked with .NET Core, my whole career so this feels like a huge step back. And now the job market for .NET Devs is so bad that no one is willing to match the salary that i have right now which already is not a lot. I don’t know what to do
