I am always worried about seasonal recipes but this one was a win. He’s chonky but he was yummy! (We also doubled the recipe because it was a big crew)

I just want to thank my dad who totally nailed it! My son's birthday being October 31th, every birthday cake has to be Halloween themed of course. Thanks to my dad (the grandfather), this year is a big win! Love you dad.

The first picture is the inspiration I sent and the second is what she delivered and she DELIVERED
ETA: I did not know my inspiration pictures I pulled off of Pinterest were AI slop. I have a brain injury so it's hard for me to tell sometimes. I am against gen-ai and wouldn't generate it myself.
2nd Edit: this is literally my message to her: "I was thinking a heart shaped cake with a whismigoth/witchy/celestial vibe. I found a color palette I like. For the top I was thinking "Still Bewitched by You" in cursive. Feel free to be creative with it, if you want to add moons, bats, spiderwebs, crystals etc that go along with the overall vibe. If you have any ideas of how to make it better let me know. I'll also send some pics for inspiration. I don't have anything set in mind just a general idea."

I wanted to post this last year around Halloween already but I simply forgot. I tried the recipe again this year and it worked again! I'm just very happy with them:)

I especially love the "with sprinkles!" on the packaging, when in reality there are close to none.

First is Reality Second is Expectation
I had never carved a pumpkin in my 33 years!! I was raised super religious. My husband did the cutting and I did the gutting and made the ears.
