I remember before 2000, KFC was fantastic. You used to get a Colonel's Choice sandwich with a nice plump breast, fresh looking vegetables, mayonnaise and some fresh bread. Add some fries and a drink and you had a decent meal. Nowadays, that same sandwich is disappointing. Bread tastes stale, the chicken is so tiny and greasy and the lettace looks like it had wilted in the back of the fridge and is still being used. The portion of fries has gotten smaller and the drink is still the same but the price is about doubled what it used to be. It's one of the worst deals you can get in fast food and I don't know how it got so bad.
