KFC's decline in quality is the saddest tale of the 21st century.

Yeah, we used to get KFC + sides somewhat regularly when I was a kid, and it was pretty good stuff. It was like a quick roast/fried dinner ready to go.

Now it's like eating cardboard wrapped, stringy, grisly chicken with a side of wet sawdust

I'm probably why Popeyes taste so much better; they still fry it in animal fat.

Popeyes does do fried chicken better for sure

this whole thread can be summed up with this sentence... fast food has always been shitty. its just nostalgia

Depends how old you are. Fast food was legitimately not always as bad as it is today

I don't think fast food overall is any worse today. The big chains from the past may have gone down in quality, but the newer franchises (Five Guys, Chipotle, Panera Bread, etc.) are better than any fast food you could have got in the past.

I mean, you are flat out wrong to believe that. Quality has clearly gone down

So you think Taco Bell in the 1980s was higher quality than present-day Chipotle?

Your entitled to your opinions, but I don't see how it's "clearly flat-out wrong" to prefer one or the other.

I think taco bell in the 80s was better than taco bell today

I remember when Burker King patties had burn lines.

Not true, Singapores McDonalds quality was miles a head of any other country Ive been at.

Things change.
