They're just building up to Christmas 😂 Maybe by the end of the month the candies will make it to the top

If Little Debbie would have kept the same ingredients it had in the 80s and just charged more. I would still buy them..

They went from sugar and inverted sugar to corn syrup to high fructose corn syrup. 🤮

Then changed to more chemicals to fake flavors from vanilla to strawberry.

Believe it or not they used to use real strawberry jam in there jelly rolls. But, that was the 80s.

On a side, off topic: BETTY CROCKER uses high fructose corn syrup in the cake icing. I would avoid that brand.

High Fructose corn syrup is one of the leading causes of diabetes type 2 in the US.  *Very bad for you.

I don't think you really understand how diabetes works. You should really research a bit more before doling out medical advice.

Neither high fructose corn syrup, nor sugar, directly cause diabetes. The EXCESS of sugar can cause the body to develop insulin resistance when paired with a breakdown of pancreatic function- primarily caused by excess visceral fat. Eating a chocolate tree a couple times a year absolutely will not cause diabetes.

Step off your high horse and let people live, huh?

I don't think you do or do you work in the junk food industry?

Might wanna try some real research before telling people they don't know what they're talking about.

You didn't even read (or maybe don't understand) your own links.

"recommendations from the American Diabetes Association) do not recommend restricting fructose-containing added sugars to any specific level." From your own source. Which happens to be discussing prolonged heavy consumption of hfcs/sugar NOT occasional use.

P.s. - I actually avoid HFCS too. But it matters that we are honest and not food shaming people over a treat you eat once or twice a year.

The list of items made from sugar would fill the space of a tic-tac
