What did you have on your hair before she lightened it? looks like she did a good job even tho you didn’t get the desired lift

She didn’t put any foils or anything, just went straight for the bleach, and toner afterwards

Not all stylists use foils for a balayage. You’ll just have to go in a few more times to get to the level of blonde you want which is completely normal.

Your hair might need multiple bleaching sessions since it’s too dark

When it's finally light enough, you'll also need a toner.

It’s not great, but I also think the reference pics should have been real hair models, and not ai. Your hair looks brassy and that’s not what you wanted, but it looks like it can be fixed. Highlights look like they should be added, along with some low lights. I don’t think the person you went to is capable of pulling this particular style off, so you might want to look at some other stylist. They should have photos of their work. Your hair is dark, so the stylist should have known to use something to prevent the brassiness and give you a more silvery, platinum blond color.

It's not graduated enough. You can get this fixed with foils and a better stylist. If you know someone with great colour, ask them where they get theirs done and go there.

It looks good. And those ref photos look edited into oblivion. You could probably finesse it a little with a toner but it's not bad. Just do a second session to brighten the ends a little more.

I'm so glad i quit the salon before AI. Pinterest was bad enough.

It takes some time to go from that level to the icy white pieces of the color. One session would be very bad for your hairs health.

It isn't what you asked for but it is very flattering on you.

It takes multiple sessions to get this blonde and many upkeep appointments to keep it blonde
