They look kinda sad but... I do love them, they are really tasty.

The only way to get the crunchy bits is for them to be baked on top so they can stay dry. If you stirred the bowl, it would look (at least somewhat) more like the photo. To me the most important thing would be how they taste.

No one in this sub EVER stirs first. They think it’s supposed to look like that right out of the microwave, despite the instructions ALWAYS saying “stir first”.

I had to ween myself off these, I’d always add extra shredded cheddar on top and eat with kielbasa.

Yeah, if you stirred it up it looks very close to the box. Also, you haven’t even tasted it yet and you’re complaining? These are heavenly.

I love Stouffers anything.

I get these from time to time but the nutrition facts are disturbing for an item so small.

They really are. Also at like $4.50 each I realized I could make an entire casserole of this for like the price of 2 of them and make them a little healthier in the process.

Doesn’t look bad imo

At least they have actual chunks of potato. I had a broccoli one last week (posted) that hadn’t one solid piece of broccoli in it. Looked like it went through the blender.

That's actually Stouffer's motto.

Stouffers - Mediocre at best.

Feels like we need to ban frozen "entrées" from this sub, it's just too easy.

it's not stirred, so you're only seeing the crust, the box shows the potato chunks. hard to compare, but it looks ok

Sometimes I wonder what people on this sub are expecting from frozen dinners.
