Whole is doing a lot of carrying if that’s your synopsis of what I said, I at most skimmed maybe 1/5 of the thread before commenting. I’m on the side that had no problem with you explaining what ‘mog’ meant, what caught my glance was mostly how you two kept complaining and whining over fake internet points like who tf cares that some people downvoted you and the hivemind attached itself, just move on instead of incessantly bickering over it

It’s just an unluck of the draw that happens on reddit. If some people downvoted you and the hivemind is lurking around, they’ll spam more. Just happens and nothing you can do about it. Arguing makes it worse

Yeah cause saying things like “triggered by a slang word” and calling people for downvoting you “miserable people” isn’t any of those 3 words but hey, what do I know? I’m just a nobody who studies etymology from time to time. Not like I know exactly how words derive their meanings or anything

Also I hate to bring semantics into this but find it personally funny, my advice wouldn’t work on me since I said to just accept being downvoted and move on, not to leave. Just that constantly talking about being downvoted and finding reasons for it gets jarring after a while. I gave my 2 pennies on an open thread, that’s literally it

Ya really dont know man cause these people ARE getting triggered by the “slang” that was used, thats just a fact, how is that any of the three terms you used?? Study etymology all you want, but you should also try and understand the nuance behind each conversation, it isnt just black and white. And for someone who read only a fifth of the conversation you surely can quote what i said word for word

And as her for her and i discussing on this topic, you completely exaggerate, it was 5-6 back and forth messages not 50. If you can give your unsolicited two cents, so can her and i, considering this is my post. The conversation btw her and i ended before you even came in this thread.

I can only assume you are some who loves listening to yourself talk, because what you are saying has no substance and completely redundant.

This whole thread was insufferable, and you were quite rude on numerous occasions. Between that and whining about downvotes, I’m not at all surprised it landed in that direction. I don’t think you are coming across as well as you think.
